Antero Alli

 
  Since the 80's Antero wrote and directed numerous
paratheatre performance works. Paratheatre is a term coined by the late Jerzy Grotowski to address specific physical processes of group ritual dynamics developed in non-performance settings that occasionally culminate in public performance. Since 1991 Antero has been writing, directing and producing his own films, which include six feature fictions, three experimental documentaries and numerous short works. Between 1992 and 2002 Antero co-curated the Nomad VideoFilm Festival. In 1996 Alli teamed up with com poser/singer, Sylvi Pickering and established Vertical Pool as an intermedia film, music and publishing company.
